We got back from a 2 week trip to Crete, Greece (see )
It was good to get away and relax a bit as it's been a difficult year. We were able to stay in the house there, do some windsurfing, meet friends and unwind in the sun.

We had 9 days in Crete, incorporating the Easter holidays, royal wedding and May bank holiday. We were abe to stay in the house which was a major breakthrough after all these years. We only have the basics to live with but we enjoyed it. There was some sun but quite a lot of rain. It was good to meet our local friends there and celebrate Easter in the Greek way.

We arrived home after a week skiing in Tignes / Val d'Isere. It was very warm and sunny but the snow higher up was excellent. In the afternoon the lower runs were slushy. It was great that we went to Tignes as it is one of the higher ski areas and includes glacier skiing at 3300 m. Gula is skiing incredibly well and we enjoyed high speed red and black runs together. The fresh air and exercise helped me tremendously.

We had a very quiet Christmas. In the summer we had booked a week skiing in Val Thorens (3 Vallees) France from 26th Dec and we went off and did that. I was feeling a bit rough but I kept going and we had a good week skiing. Gula is doing really well now and happy whizzing down red runs.
